GARDENERS AHOY!

cartoon of a various seeds in labelled jars and "Seed Swap" written on small blackboard.

Sandra Reekie writes:  We are holding a "seed swap" at our October monthly meeting. Please collect the seeds from your flower heads as they die off at the end of the summer, pop them in an old envelope or two, write the name of the plant on the envelope and bring them along to the meeting to swap with others.  A lovely way to increase the variety of plants in your garden.

Remember to collect your spring flower seeds as they die off next Spring and we  will have another swap next year.  Whether you have a garden, window box or a tree pit,  it's a good and pocket-friendly way to blossom and bloom.
