Why not Join us?
If you reside in Wanstead, Woodford, or the surrounding areas, why not join our vibrant community of members? Most of our members are retired and seeking new friendships, exploring interests, and having fun.
Our annual membership fee, starting at £20 per person (£40 for couples), offers excellent value for money. At just over £1.50 per month per member, it’s an affordable way to connect and engage. Additionally, a lower (pro-rata) fee is available if you join mid-year.
Membership includes monthly meetings with engaging guest speakers, and access to a diverse range of interest groups. Wanstead and Woodford u3a also organise theatre trips, excursions, and quizzes throughout the year.
Additional contributions to the membership fee, may be applicable to cover the cost of the external tutors, venue hire, entrance fees, transport etc. These fees are highlighted against individual activities on the website.
